Dr. Bethany Englund, DDS
Owner/DentistDr. Bethany Englund, originally from Seattle, WA, is the owner and lead dentist at Englund Dental in La Jolla, CA. Growing up in a family of healthcare professionals, Dr. Englund knew early on that she wanted to inspire and make lives better through dentistry. She earned dual bachelor’s degrees in molecular biology and English literature from the University of Washington and her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Southern California (USC), where she was a member of the Psi Omega Honor Fraternity. After dental school, she practiced in Malibu and Santa Monica with a focus on cosmetic dentistry and smile makeovers, then spent time practicing in Oahu, HI before returning to California to open Englund Dental. Dr. Englund continually advances her skills with ongoing training in implantology, clear aligners, and cosmetic smile makeovers. She is passionate about building genuine relationships with patients and is dedicated to providing a luxury, comfortable dental experience using the latest technology and personalized care. Outside of work, Dr. Englund enjoys kayaking, sailing, hiking, reading, traveling, and spending time with her border collie/poodle mix, Rufio, who visits the office on Tuesdays to offer dog therapy to patients.
